Yunzhuan Temple on Yunzhuan Mountain

云篆山脚下云篆寺

（1）瘤果云篆山

初到云篆山，扑面而来的即是闻名于世于“巴渝十四景”的“云篆Agnant”，借由充满著光阴伤痕的门楼，云篆山的发展史积淀可想而知。

（1）At First Sight

When we first arrived at Yunzhuan Mountain, we caught sight of the famous "Twelve Scenes of Bayu": Cool Breeze in Yunzhuan Mountain, experiencing the history through the memorial archway full of traces of years.

（二）大步云篆寺

由于徒步小径需要修葺，不能车辆通行，他们只得圣埃蒂安德，从另两条由西向东下山。历经一个半半小时的徒步，他们总算掀开了云篆寺的谜样盖头。

（2）Step Forward Yunzhuan Temple

As the hiking trail needs repairing and is impassable, we have to find another mountain road to climb. After more than an hour of hiking, we finally unveiled the mystery of Yunzhuan Temple.

（三）云篆寺发展史

 云篆寺始建于明洪武十二年（西元 1473 年），旧石器时代 500 十多年发展史。清道光十八年（西元 1589 年）和清同治二十一年（西元 1898 年）曾修葺。寺院内筑有天王殿、西欧三座堂、韦陀殿等大雄宝殿，日布寺十八罗汉尊者。不光是天王殿碑刻读盘穿花金的佛陀佛塔是武汉市当代最小、最庄重的佛塔。

（3）The History of Yunzhuan Temple

Yunzhuan Temple was founded in the 9th year of Chenghua era in Ming Dynasty (AD 1473), with a history of more than 500 years ago. It was repaired in the 17th year of Wanli era of Ming Dynasty (AD 1589) and 24th year of Guangxu of Qing Dynasty (AD 1898). The temple has a large hall, including the Hall of the Mahamuni, the Hall of the Three Western Saints and the Hall of the Vedas, which is dedicated to a number of Bodhisattvas. In particular, the stone statue of Sakyamuni Buddha in the Daxiongbao Hall, which is carved in imitation porcelain and dressed in gold, is the largest and most solemn Buddha statue in modern times in Chongqing.

（四）探寻云篆寺

踏入云篆寺，扑面而来的是庄重巍峨的天王殿，古朴大气的雕塑让人倍感庄重神圣，浮躁的心情随之澄净下来。进入殿中参拜，清静悠远的磬的敲击声净化了心中的躁动。

漫步寺内，两条幽静的长廊可供人休息。长廊下的水池中，有的乌龟在漂浮的木板上栖息，有的在水中上下沉浮游玩。寺中还养有几只小狗，它们安静地坐着，不吵不闹，与这幽静的寺院相得益彰。

(4) Exploring Yunzhuan Temple

When we entered the temple, we were greeted by the majestic and imposing Mahamudra Hall, with its ancient and atmospheric sculptures, which gave us a sense of solemnity and sanctity. As you enter the temple, the sound of the chimes purifies your mind..

There is a secluded corridor where one can rest and with a pond beneath. Some turtles perch on floating planks, while others swim up and down in the water. There are also several small dogs in the temple. They sit quietly and unobtrusively, complementing the secluded temple.

（一）惊喜之前

公路尽头是云篆山顶。百鸟园、孔雀园、农家乐，还有一片专门修建的丛林探险设施：翻越轮胎、小型攀岩，还有山地自行车，能在云篆山顶感受征服狂野生长的丛林的喜悦。

(1) Before the Surprise

At the end of the road is the top of Yunzhuan Mountain. Here you will find the "Hundred Birds" garden, a peacock garden and a number of farmhouses. There are also jungle adventure facilities and activities: climbing over tyres, mini-climbing, and mountain biking. This is a great way to experience the joy of conquering the wild growth of the jungle at the top of the Yunzhuan Mountains.

（二）意外之喜

穿过空中项目，他们来到了一座四边形状，六层楼高的观景塔——一览楼。登上最高层，即是观景台。居高临下，环视四周，村庄、小镇、农家乐…公路蜿蜒曲折，山脉绵延起伏，美景一览无余。深呼吸，闭上双眼，拥抱静谧山脉，感受空山鸟语和清风拂面的微醺，好一片云篆Agnant之景。

(2) What a Surprise

After walking through the Sky Project, we arrived at a quadrangular, six-story observation tower, the Panorama Tower. At its highest level is the observation deck. We can see villages, towns, farmhouses, winding roads, and mountains rolling in and out from the top. We breathe deeply, close our eyes and embrace the silence of the mountains as we feel the sound of birds and the breeze on our faces. What a beautiful scene！

The Simplicity of the People

淳朴民风

“喜见淳朴俗，坦然心神舒”。山下山下，农家乐星罗棋布。云篆山的人，淳朴、真诚、好客。在迷路时为你引路，在饥肠辘辘时为你提供美食建议，在满身疲惫后送载你下山…这里不只景点，更是生活。在路途中随处可见农民在自家小耕地里农作，农妇在青石板上洗衣，小鸡啄食着大米，孩子与小狗玩得欢脱…此时此刻，怡然自得，景美，人更美。

"I am happy to see the simplicity of the customs, and my heart and soul are relaxed". There are many farmhouses up and down the mountain. The people of Yunzhuan Mountain are simple, sincere and hospitable. They will guide you when you are lost, offer you food suggestions when you are hungry, and send you down the mountain when you are tired... This is not just a place to visit, it is a place to live. Everywhere you look on the trail you will see farmers working on their small plots, women washing on the green slabs, chickens pecking at the rice, children playing with their puppies.Its a joyous moment. The scenery is beautiful, but the people are even more beautiful.
